About Aunties House Hawaii
Aunties House Hawaii is a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit led by three Native Hawaiian women whose lived experiences, cultural grounding, and faith shape the heart of this work. While the organization itself is new, our collective journey of working with youth and serving our communities spans many years. We are united by a shared belief: every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and surrounded by people who care about their future.
Each of us carries our own story of being shaped by the presence of aunties, uncles, mentors, and community members who showed up when it mattered most. Their examples of strength, care, and steady presence continue to guide how we show up today for the youth of Upcountry Maui.
For many of us growing up, saying “I’m going to Auntie’s house” meant stepping into a place where you knew you would be welcomed, cared for, and reminded that you belonged. Aunties House Hawaii hopes to carry that same spirit forward for today’s youth by cultivating the same kinds of nurturing relationships. We are working to create opportunities for youth to gather, connect, and explore their strengths through programs and mentorship rooted in community and culture.
As Aunties House Hawaii takes root, we are building thoughtfully and with intention—taking steps to listen, learn, and grow alongside the youth and communities we serve. If you believe in showing up for the next generation, we invite you to learn more about Aunties House Hawaii and be part of the journey.
